I am often asked to name my favorite images and this would have to be one of them.
Aimee was seven days old at the time I photographed her. What I love about this image is its absolute simplicity, and the delicate detail
of her brand-new baby hair. It makes me feel like caressing her soft little head. A newborn's hair feels so fine and downy. I love to do this,
it's an instinctive gesture.
