We are excited to announce the second doll from the Anne Geddes collectible doll line, The Woodland Sprite, has been nominated for the 2008 Dolls of Excellence Award!

Inspired by Anne’s photography first seen in her new book A Labor of Love - an Autobiography. Well-known artist Laura Tusio-Ross, under Anne’s creative direction, has sculpted this beautiful 22" doll.

The Woodland Sprite has been produced in a soft silicone/vinyl that everyone loves to touch which adds a special glow to the skin tone of each doll.

The very special outfit for the Woodland Sprite was specially designed by Anne and features the following incredible details.

* Hat and boots tinted with the accent colors to match the outfit.
* The outfit is made of a stretchy jersey material that ties in the front on tiny dark brown rawhide loops.
* The front of the outfit is accented with a two-tone group of specially shaped leaves.
* The shirt is tied in back and is made of a self-pleated gauzy material with unfinished edges on the sleeves to give the rustic woodland feel to the outfit.

The Woodland Sprite also comes with a simulated piece of wood for the doll to rest on. Each doll is a hand numbered 2008 Annual Edition.
